Our Mission
Nothing is more exciting than watching your child grow and learn, and Clever Endeavors Early Care & Education, Inc. wants to be part of that experience! Studies have shown that children learn best through "child-centered" learning, that is, where the child is interacting with their environment, other children and adults, and through a developmental approach using play. Although our curriculum may be planned, a child's question about sunshine may morph the day's program into a fun science experiment, an art project about clouds, an entertaining story about a plant and the sun, or a hundred other possibilities. The point is that children are encouraged to be active in their learning. This is the key to an engaging and happy learning experience, and just so happens to be the mission of Clever Endeavors.

The goals of Clever Endeavors Early Care & Education, Inc. include empowering children to make choices and decisions, establishing trust and building healthy relationships, ensuring that children are respected, and providing support and meeting the needs of the children, families and staff of the program.
Our Philosophy
The philosophy of Clever Endeavors Early Care & Education, Inc. is that children learn best through child-centered learning, where the child is interacting with their environment, other children and adults, and through a developmental approach where children learn through play.
Two developmental theories outline our philosophy and methods of teaching. Jean Piaget's theory of the "spiral of knowledge" speaks of continual learning, while his constructivist approach outlines an environment where children are actively engaged in their own learning. His theory and approach are reflective of the center's total learning environment that allows endless opportunities for children to grow and discover while having fun. Albert Bandura's social learning theory states that children tend to behave like the people in their lives. Therefore, it is imperative that Clever Endeavors Early Care & Education, Inc. provide children with positive role models and an environment where children feel comfortable in their interaction with other children and our staff.
